Ende Gelände is fighting climate change. We want to act as environmentally responsible as possible. In addition, we will this year – hopefully – be even more people than last year. Therefore, it is even more important that all activists participating in the action organise, prepare and equip themselves as well as possible.

For this reason, the Ende Gelände action logistics team, which takes care of the material and the infrastructure need for thhe action, is asking for your help: This year, we would like to buy less new material than in the last two years. This does not only make sense from an environmental point of view, but also saves money. And of course, we want to avoid leaving waste in the spaces where our action takes place.

We therefore request you to do the following:

  • Please bring the equipment you need yourselves. For example, if you intend to block a certain place overnight, please remember to bring sleeping bags, warm clothes and mats. Equally, bring your camping equipment yourselves; we are not able to equip you with tents, sleeping bags or warm clothes. Please also remember that these things may come back from the action looking a bit battered. Here is a list of things you should definitely bring!

  • Please think about how you will communicate with each other, including in situations which are a bit confusing or unclear.

  • To reduce waste, it is important that you bring your own re-fillable water bottles that you can take with you to the action.

  • Please remember to clean-up the places where the action takes place when leaving, to the extent circumstances permit. We will be happy to provide you with a garbage bag at the action logistic tent in the camp and will try to collect full garbage bags after the action from whereever they are.

  • For those coming from not too far: Please help us with getting the material we need. Here is a list of materials and equipment we need for the action. Going to a festival and able to take some of the left-over material with you in the end? Have some connections with a laundry that would be willing to donate old sheets? Great!
